How Email Marketing Helps You Get Clients and Keep Them

As I’m sure you have noticed, web design, including blog design, is a competitive business. Good email marketing can help you stand out from the crowd. Here’s how:

Remind potential clients that you are still there, still the best, and still ready to help them.

Explain new (and old) services you offer—and why customers will want them.

Announce sales, discounts, and other incentives.

Ask customers for leads and referrals.

Sell additional services.

Invite customers to contact you with questions, complaints or feedback of any kind.

Provide tips and education on making the best use of their site(s).

Show off new themes, plugins, and other features¬† by inserting links to demo sites or to other customer’s sites that use the same theme.

Relate case histories that show you off as a hero and also give publicity to some of your clients.

Offer small freebies or other incentives to contact you—so you can sell more services.

The importance of keeping up a dialogue with customers is obvious. An email marketing program can help you keep existing clients happy and encourage them to send you new ones.

Email marketing can significantly increase your sales and keep clients coming back. What could be better than that?
