As web technologies continue evolving each day, new information keeps coming onto the limelight but not all web designers get to know about it. This is due to lack of comprehensive coverage of the subject on the internet where one can get concise and up to date information without having to jump between the many different web Tutorial portals offering bits to their readers.
This article seeks to highlight issues to address in development of a good blog for any topic on the internet.

Design – The blog design and layout of the information should be void of complicated link overlaps; this reduces the user from getting lost when following a particular link. The layout should also be simple and attractive to the eye, avoid dull colors on your pages too.
Informational Flow -A flow chart can help to depict the organization of the web pages in your blog, a well thought table of content with links to relevant articles and pages will help the user to easily spot and follow their link of interest. This applies each article posted too; structuring it to have a heading where you introduce the topic, body where you discuss in length and conclusion helps the user understand the topic.
Consice content –The content in your blog articles should be to the point ,no one likes reading loads of pages to get to the point a writer wants to bring out, A simple and detailed article can drive the point home other than long and often repeating essays most people write in their articles.
Give Up-todate Information –The information published on your blog should be updated and new ones added periodically, This shows the users that they are on an informative blog offering current and new information. Its advisable to display newer articles for repeat users and allow new users browse for topics they want in the blog.
Relevance, relevance, relevance! –The content on your blog should be relevant to the needs of users. It should meet the needs of your blog visitors. This is the hardest part but allowing user feedback and feedback is a way to gauge satisfaction to your users.
Allow for comments from users and readers –Know what the users think about your articles learn their expectations and bond with them. Comments can help you determine effectiveness of your blog articles in relation to topics you are discussing.
Accept users contribution –This feature will allow users raise their concerns and views that can help you improve the quality of your blog, Sharing of ideas with your users helps in addressing their diverse and sometimes personal experiences that forms the basic reason why your blog gets more visitors and retains them.
