Your Questions About Blog Theme Ideas

Sharon asks…

Will these centerpiece ideas be too much?

My sister and I are going to make centerpieces that are similar to these for my beach-theme wedding:

I would also like to use message in a bottle to decorate the tables as well. See this pic:

Will it be too much?
I *need* to have candles at all of the tables because the venue will be dimly lit for the entire reception. It’s a dinner reception for 4 hours. :(
Aubree – I love it! Thanks!
We can have candles lit or they wouldn’t have the light setting option. It would be pitch black.

Why not do a few tables with one, and the others with the other? Ive seen brides use different centerpieces but it all ties in together.

*Okay, so you’ll use the pillar style candle in the first centerpiece at one table.. How about some small candles around the message in a bottle on the other tables? All tables will have some sort of candle but not all of the same. Just an idea :-P

Joseph asks…

Tumblr theme CSS/HTML help?

I follow this blog on Tumblr, and I really really like the design of the blog. I’d also really like to have something similar for mine, but with some tweaking of colors and the general design so they’re not identical.

I can get the full code for the web page by viewing the page source under “view” in Firefox. Through, that I was able to get the CSS for the blog, which if I understand correctly, is essentially get the esthetic part of the blog. The only problem is now taking that CSS design and finding a way to fit it into some html so the design works on my blog. Does anyone have any idea of how to do this, specifically for Tumblr? Thanks and please help!

Blog Design Journal answers:

At the very bottom of her blog, it says the name of the theme, and who made it. Click on the name of the theme, you’ll be able to upload it, and then click customize, where you can tweak and change the color and however you want. Its way easier than CSS. CSS can get really confusing.

If there isnt though, the person may have hidden it :/

hope i helped; if i didnt im sorry!

Browse the net (Google) for WordPress themes. You just have to figure out how WordPress works, then customize the themes that you find. Their system is fairly easy. If you need help, you can post your questions at http://websitehacks.com/tutorials

Susan asks…

I am using a blog and installed 1 of their free themes which I like but would like to tweak to allow for bigger space and little extras. I don’t know any code and would like to hire someone to do it for me but have NO idea what the charge is for a basic site?
