There are so many different blogging platforms to choose from when starting your first blog.  Blogging should be a pleasant experience so choosing the right platform can either make your blogging a breeze or a chore.  In this article I will share with you 5 tips for selecting the right blogging platform.

Some of the typical concerns people have when choosing a platform are which ones are best, should they use a free service or host their own with their own domain, what are the pros and cons of going with typepad instead of wordpress and should they start with a free platform and upgrade at a later date.

Depending on the goals of your blog will depend on which platform you should use.  The great thing about blogging is that your success is not reliant upon the tool you use, it’s about how you use it!
