What are some good websites for tumblr codes?
I want to see how many people are on/saw my blog. I need a link of where i can copy and paste the code.

You need a site meter.
My recommendation is HiStats (free) — you can pick up a lot of info from your visitors and see what posts they are looking at, where they are coming from, where they are going, and how long did they stay and more. Fun stuff to read when you are bored with other things.
You can choose from a variety of meters.
All you need is an email and your tumblr URL to register then you get the copy/paste code to use.

i cant find a website that has good tumblr codes if you do know any can you put them on here.

Do you mean putting your MySpace background code on Tumblr?
You could try putting the code on the custom edit theme section since it takes HTML but I don’t know for sure if it will work.

Why wont certain HTML codes work on tumblr?
a couple of simple html codes wont go through when i post an entry on my tumblr.
particularly the and the codes.
I know im typing it correct. and i type it all in the ‘edit html source’ window
the codes disappear when i reopen the little window to double check everything.
do they just not work on tumblr or do i need to use a different kind of code?

Those tags are out dated. Use span tags in place of font tags and center with CSS.
This text will be Fuchsia color and centered. This text be green.

I have a tumblr account and I want to have my images faded a little but when someone hovers over them with their cursor they become the original image. I was wondering if someone knew the html code for that, I’ve been trying to google it but I haven’t found anything yet so I was hoping someone could help.

If you don’t want to code it semantically or syntactically correct, then just type the text. If it has to be in a page, then:
Title Here. Then type your text.
Or, more correctly, put the title in title tags floated left. Put the text inside “p” tags and float them right. Put both sets of tags inside a properly sized and style div container.

How do you post a video in a text post on Tumblr?
I need to post a YouTube video in a “Text” post on Tumblr. If I add the embed code via the HTML of the post it just ignores it. This method works with Hulu and MTV videos (even videos from Revision3!).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I tried putting the link in the post, but since this is a “text post” it just adds it as a link, not an embedded video

Im not pro at html, but i can read it and somewhat see what properties is for what.
I cannot find any areas to to put a code to alignn the text.. and im pretty confused on why it turns out a certain way. Can anyone please help?

That’s good inline CSS and will work, but if the container that text is in isn’t wide enough, there will be no centering. Checked your code in my web editor and it worked just fine.

How do I make my tumblr sidebar stay still while I scroll?

If you want your sidebar to movie along while you slide down your blog than I think it won’t be possible as nobody will like to built a template which won’t be popular with search engines as they can’t read so many scripts etc. Properly.
It’s better to open your blog in two tabs or make it’s size look smaller by pressing control + -(minus) key and to come back to normal press control and O(zero) simultaneously.

Tumblr Theme question: How to keep your info column fixed whilst your posts scroll?
Ok, so on quite a few tumblr themes I’ve seen people have there info fixed and non moving but the posts column scrolls down whilst the info column stays put!
Does anyone know the html code for this?

In general you have to add css like the following:
#id_of_profile
{
position: fixed;
top: 10px;
right: 10px;
}
Replace “id_of_profile” with the id of the div containing the info. You’ll also need to adjust the “top” and “right” properties to position the profile where you want it on the page.

As long as you uploaded music to your own tumblr through a audio post, it means that you are missing the autoplay feature from streampad, or the play button. The above poster is correct.

There is so much information out there about choosing a niche for your blog that you are being forced to believe you can just go out and cherry-pick anything you want from some website like Yahoo Answers, and instantly start pulling down 6 figures with your new blog.
It doesn’t work like that, as you’ve probably found out by now!
Every niche is different, in some there is so much room to profit then you can make money even when you get things wrong, in most then you can’t profit even when you do things right.
